brief history: The eldest daughter of Federal Agent Robert Stanton and Janet Stanton, Iris was devastated by the tragic murder of her father. When the killers were never apprehended, Iris began to grow frustrated with a system that had failed to bring to justice her father’s murderers. Iris excelled in high school, always pushing herself to be the best and got top grades. Once she graduated, Iris entered college, majoring in criminology and criminal justice. After obtaining her degree, at the top of her class, Iris entered the FBI Academy, again graduating at the top of her class.

Once she became a full-fledged agent, Iris was partnered up with Logan Behr in Los Angeles and, together, the two began investigating the illegal drug sales operations of the Tsung family. Sadly their investigation caused the death of some of their family members and the two (Iris more so) became more focused on bringing the crime family down.

Iris was approached by one Xander Paradis who fed her information. He claimed he wanted to help her, but it turned out he was merely helping her to help himself. Once Iris became aware of what had happened, she, along with her partner, confronted Xander. She ended up punching him in the eye and he in return pulled a gun and kidnapped her.

She was dumped on a seemingly deserted island, in what she thinks was Xander's hope that she would just die. Luckily for her the island wasn't as deserted as she had been lead to believe and she found Leo living on the island, in a house. The two don't really get a long, but Iris really doesn't mind him that much. Besides living with him beats sleeping on the beach and having to fend for herself.
