The drive had been a fairly quiet one. Jaime was still letting the actions of this day... sink in. He was married now. Kai was his wife. She was his wife and he loved her and trusted her and yet... she'd called her brother. He knew she had. How else would it explain one of his henchwomen finding them? And finding them so quickly? Jaime didn't do anything differently though. He still opened and held the door for Kai and placed his hand on the small of her back in an ever protective way. He cared about her so much. They'd just been married. He couldn't get this stupid smile off his face. Yet... she got in contact with them anyway, knowing how dangerous it was.
"Kai..."He finally said once the door closed behind them and he locked it. Jaime didn't pay much attention to the room. He knew it was nice. It was a different hotel than the last one, because, yes. He was paranoid. Jaime had it changed at the last minute, but the view was gorgeous. They were right on the beach... since Kai's wanted to go so bad in Miami. "You just had to call?"
Kai frowned and ran a hand over the front of her dress, smoothing out the wrinkles. "He's my brother Jaime, and regardless of what's happened, I just can't forget that." She said softly and glanced away. "Besides.... He knows we're married now, and he won't do anything.." At least that's what she kept telling herself.
"I know... I'm not upset that you did," he said honestly. "I just thought that they wouldn't find us now." Jaime went and looked out of the window. The ocean was absolutely gorgeous, but his mind wasn't on any of that. He turned around and looked at Kai. "But Jun is here. And as much as I don't want to think about any of that, we've got to keep a low profile." Going over he kissed her forehead. "I love you. I have to keep you safe."
She sighed and and leaned into him, wrapping her arms around his waist and pressed her cheek against his cheek. "I don't think Jun would dare do anything without Yan approving it first." She murmured softly, closing her eyes. "And well.." She shrugged and opened her eyes and leaned back flashing him a bright smile. "I don't think we need to worry about them. We're together. Married, and they can't do anything about it." She stood up on her tiptoes and pressed a soft kiss against his lips. "Have I told you lately that I love you Mr. Seda?" She asked, hoping to change the subject.
He let it go and returned her soft kiss. He really meant it when he said he wasn't upset with her. Although he had reason to be, Jaime accepted that she knew more about this than her and just... let it go. Running his hand up and down her back. He smiled down at Kai... at his wife. "You have, Mrs. Seda." Picking her up off the ground for a moment he held her close and kissed her again and again. "I love you... I love you, my wife..."
She smiled, and unwrapped her arms from around his waist and wrapped them around his neck and simply just enjoyed his kisses. She leaned back, and gently grazed her fingers over his cheek once he'd set her back down. "You know.. I don't want to be running forever Jaime.. I want a house.. and.. And well things like that. How long is this going to be going on?" She asked softly looking up at him.
Jaime shook his head, expecting this question for quite some time now. "It won't be long. I swear to you, we'll have a house. We'll have the house, all the cars, even the dogs and the backyard too." He knew it was possible. Jaime wouldn't have told her if he didn't think it was within his reach. "Just a little while longer. There's something I have to do here... one last thing. Then... he can go back to LA." Jaime ran his fingers through her hair, stroking it sweetly. "Okay?"
She nodded slowly, and leaned back into him, resting her cheek once more on his chest. "Okay, but what do you have to do?" She asked softly, though she didn't really think much about it.
"I have to talk to someone. It'll be fine," he said reassuring her that everyone was alright. Jaime would prefer not to get into the details of it. Kai wouldn't understand. And he could not leave Puetro Rico without doing this. There were quite a few things he wanted to say to this person. "Then we take off. And we don't waste another second."
"Okay, "Kai murmured. She stood there for a moment, just enjoying being with Jaime and enjoying the thought that she was married to him! She grinned again and pulled back, looking up at him again. "So.. There's an actual beach here," She began, her lips curving into a teasing smile. "Or.. We could pretend again..."
"Hmmmm," he said a smile growing on his lips as well. Jaime looked down at her. "A real beach would be nice... but our fake one was nicer." He looked up at the ceiling in thought and then looked back to her. "I vote real."
She chuckled, "Okay.. Well since you voted for real.. Then we actually have to change into swimming suits," She grinned and pulled out of his embrace to head over to the suitcases. She quickly opened hers and began digging inside for her bikini. "It seems like forever since I've been to an actual beach.." She looked over her shoulder at him. "Remember when I made you stop working and join me in LA?"
Jaime laughed and went over to his solitary bag. He was sure he had the same swimming trunks in here or something. "Yes, actually I do. You almost made me leave my lemonade too." He remembered everything about them - about her. Jaime had remembered getting those jerks off her ass too. "Who would of thought we'd be here right now?"
Kai pulled out her black bikini and tossed it onto her bed before rising to feet. "Well, I sure didn't..But I'm glad we're here..I'm glad you've been my super hero Jaime." She flashed him another smile before quickly tugging her clothes off and pulled on her bikini. "But c'mon.. Let's go.. I think the water is calling my name."
Jaime took off his shirt and just as quickly as she did, changed. He grabbed a towel and slung his around his neck as he got the keys to the room as well from the dresser. He smiled. "I'm coming, I'm coming. Even though the ocean isn't going anywhere. It's real this time!" He joked with her casually and shut the door behind them.
