Below is a list of terminology and acronyms we use in Remember Me Tomorrow and what they mean in our group.
LOA -- Leave Of Absence. This is any extended period of time that you (and thus your characters) will be away from the game.
OOC -- Out Of Character. This is player-to-player content. Real life stuff.
IC -- In Character. This is content done by the characters to the characters within the confines of the game.
NPC -- Non-Player Character. This is a character that is often involved for one or two scenes only. They can be the mugger who steals your purse, the librarian who shushes you, the cop who pulls you over for speeding, or something similar.
Secondary Character -- A secondary character is a character whose sole purpose is to support a Main Character or a Main Character's storyline. They can be friends, family, co-workers, etc. They are of a higher status than normal NPC's because Secondary Characters appear with more frequency. However, like NPC's, Secondary Characters will never be posted in the Completed Scenes section without at LEAST one Main Character involved and will NOT have their own independent storylines.
