"I remember reading stuff about the trial in the paper, but I never really paid much attention to it. i just remember it being a really big fucking deal, the whole thing." A smile spread across her lips and she laughed. "I bet the sex was, like, super hot. But csn you imagine being married to someone like that, and not be able to even touch them?" She asked, shaking her head in disbelief.
staying on th subject at hand, a Amanda decided to go ahead and ask Wes a question burning in her head. "So, if you don't mind my asking, you and Dean...you guys obviously have some sort of agreement in place if you were going to that club with Hank...am I right? Do you mind my asking?"

Wes couldn't help but chuckle at her question. After years with Dean, the last few married, it was easy to forget who knew and who didn't know about their arrangement. "Yes, you can ask. And, yes, we have an agreement. We, uh, well, to put it bluntly, most of our past problems always seemed to revolve around jealousy. Me being jealous of him and all the guys and girls throwing themselves at him. Him being jealous of me and my friendship with Kate, Beth and Kristen. And, I gotta be honest, I wasn't exactly innocent when it came to flirting or hitting on other guys. And there was a lot of temptation, for both of us. And, ya know, my husband is bisexual so he's going to be attracted to women from time to time."
He sucked in a deep breath and let it out slowly before continuing. "So, after running each other through the ringer and realizing that, even after all the stuff we put each other through, we didn't want to lose each other, we decided that staying monogamous wasn't going to work. With him being out of town a lot there was just too many opportunities for both of us to be tempted and to slip, so we decided to open our relationship up. So, with a few exceptions, I can fool around with whoever I want and he can fool around with whoever he wants. No getting mad."

"I think open relationships are awesome," Amanda admitted to him. "I'm not so sure if I could handle one myself, but I still think they are great. I just don't believe people are meant to be monogamous, not really anyway. I know some people can handle it, and are happy with it, but I've never really known many people who are." She frowned a little and leaned back. " and even the people who are faithful to each other, they can get so jealous over the very idea of someone cheating that it totally ruins them anyway."
yeah, she was talking about her brother and Kate at the end of that, but she wasn't going to actually bring names into anything or elaborate. She had been as disappointed as the kids had been when those two split up, but she had believed her brother 100%. He was a lot of things, but a Cheater and a dirtbag he wasn't.

Wes offered a smile. "Well, honey, I don't know about you but I get a pretty damn good feeling that, if you do what I think you gonna do, you're going to end up handling a lot more than you've ever had to handle before."

"From the sounds of things, you're right," Amanda said with a smirk, although there was still an air of apprehension in her voice. She may have been joking around about it earlier, acting like she was all cool with things, but she still had no idea what she was going to do. Honestly, she didn't think she would until she was in the situation. She had no idea what AJ was going to say to her, or show her, and nothing anyone could explain to her was going to fully prepare her for anything. She didn't want to wait until Friday, truth be told. She knew she would overthink things and possibly psych herself out before the day got there. She almost wished she could grab AJ and ask him now...but again, that could backfire on her.
